-
Advance notice of 48 hours is preferred to select the most suitable occasional/temporary
arrangement.
-
The Provider Fee is paid directly to the provider.
-
Agency fees are charged to Master Card or Visa at the time each request
is processed. Billing for the Occasional/Temporary Service is not available.
-
Child care providers must be scheduled through Child Care Professionals,
Inc. for each requested service. Unless the agency has received a one-time
permanent fee for the specific provider, the daily referral fee (a fee
charged for each day the service is used) continues on an ongoing basis,
whether arrangements are made through the agency or directly with the provider.
When a referral is confirmed, the client is responsible for the referral
fee, even if the request for placement is later cancelled.
Permanent Referral
- One year or more
(Most
providers stay three or more years):
A $100 registration fee is required in order to
be placed on active file.
The fee includes registration with the Occasional/Temporary
Service for one year.
Full Time
5 days or more (40-50 hours/week)
Due Upon Placement:
One month's gross salary or $1,800, whichever is greater.
Part Time
Less than 40 hours/week
One month salary or $1,000, whichever is greater.
Part-Time Ongoing
Part-Time Ongoing Child Care is suggested due to the fact that many
providers find it difficult to make a year or more commitment to a Part-Time
Child Care request. One provider may provide child care during fall
quarter (3 months). She would be replaced with another provider that
may provide child care for the next 6 months, and so on.
Typical Ongoing Providers
-
Student available one school semester/quarter
-
Provider in between jobs available for a few weeks/months
-
Mom looking to work a few weeks/months each year
-
Provider available while waiting for full time permanent assignment to
begin
Advance notice of 4-6 weeks is preferred to select the most suitable child
care arrangement.
