Responsibilites

When caring for your children, the provider is responsible for the child's physical, developmental, emotional and behavioral needs. On a daily basis, the provider will provide basic care for your child such as feeding, dressing, bathing, and creating a healthy and safe environment. The provider can perform the duties of child care such as driving the children to activities, planning and organizing special outings, tutoring, or providing any other structured, age appropriate activity.

Many providers take the children to doctor's appointments, pick up groceries, and go to the laundry. The providers are encouraged to maintain a daily log of activities to provide continuity within the family structure. Each family should develop their expectations with the provider to create a good working relationship.
